Why I'm standing

I am running for election because I believe Christchurch is the best place to live. I believe it has changed a lot in the past decade and will keep evolving. I believe we need long-term planning and decisions that prioritise the future, not just short-term gains. I am a young person committed to building a city that works for everyone and tackling key challenges like climate change and a growing population to ensure Christchurch thrives for generations to come.

About me

I have always supported my community and have volunteered in a variety of community organisations over the last decade. I have a background in conservation and run a small business around animal education. I have insight into the challenges our world faces with climate change and the value small local businesses bring to their communities. I am young and energetic, so have a lot of time and energy to give to this role.

My priorities
  1. Support small local business as they are vital building blocks of the community.
  2. Maintain a safe ward for all so everyone feels safe where they live, work and play.
  3. Protect the environment and improve biodiversity as it is the foundation for survival.
