Why I'm standing

I am seeking election because I am concerned about the sustainability of rates increases and the lack of improvement in service delivery. There is a perception that the council has lost focus on its core responsibilities. With my skills and qualifications, I am committed to restoring accountability, ensuring prudent decision-making, and delivering outcomes that genuinely benefit the community. I aim to serve with integrity and professionalism, listening carefully to residents' needs and priorities.

About me

I bring experience in small business and farming, community volunteer work, a Master of Management Studies, financial and legal knowledge. I focus on practical, thrifty effective solutions and believe in listening carefully to represent everyone fairly and honestly. My blend of skill, community and family local ties equips me to serve with integrity and effectiveness.

My priorities
  1. Get up to speed with existing and future council commitments to make an informed contribution.
  2. Connect with key people and groups to build the network to deliver to the community.
  3. Advocate for the roading improvements; Waitetuna Valley and Wainui Bridge.
