Why I'm standing

I grew up in what I call paradise—here in Taupō, surrounded by our beautiful moana and community. I want to ensure my grandchildren and future generations can experience the eeling, crayfishing and the activities my whānau enjoyed.

About me

For over 20 years, I've been an active member of various organisations, always with one goal: to serve our community. Whether as a māmā supporting the team, or as Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, volunteer, or Director/Trustee on large governance boards, I dedicate my time and skills to helping the people.

My priorities
  1. Support farmers to adopt sustainable practices while navigating environmental changes.
  2. Ensure affordable rates by reviewing current processes and developing a more sustainable model.
  3. Protect and improve clean water with strong support and better outcomes for our communities.
