About me

I've lived, worked, and volunteered in Thames-Coromandel for 25 years in community, tourism, biodiversity, and environmental roles, including as Waikato Regional Council's Waihou-Piako Zone Manager. I believe our environment underpins our economy and wellbeing, and I will work to protect it while supporting sustainable industries and resilient communities. I know the challenges our landowners, communities, and environment face, and I'm committed to working with tangata whenua, communities, and council to deliver practical, transparent decisions.

My priorities
  1. Protect and restore our environment through practical, community-led action.
  2. Build resilient community and infrastructure via strong flood protection, catchments and climate resilience.
  3. Ensure practical, transparent, open and fair governance, focusing on affordable rates and core services.
