Why I'm standing

Waipā and the King Country deserves strong leadership and accountable governance. Our communities need a councillor who is visible, attends meetings in person, connects with locals and works to improve people's lives. I bring a deep understanding of local government and know how to get things done. I am proud of my proven track record and reputation as one of the most hardworking councillors, always present on the ground and focused on delivering results.

About me

I bring the experience and leadership this region needs. With over 12 years on Waipā District Council, including service as Deputy Mayor and Deputy Chair of Future Proof, I have a proven record of guiding cross-council growth strategies. I am hardworking, energetic and passionate about both our towns and rural communities. As a farmer and event manager, I am grounded, well-connected and proud to use my networks to be effective for the people I serve.

My priorities
  1. Prepare for the new RMA and streamline rules to remove red tape and speed up decisions.
  2. Lead honest discussions on the inevitable council amalgamation to protect local voices.
  3. Help landowners and farmers navigate Plan Change 1 with clear advice and support on the ground.
