Why I'm standing

I am standing for election for the Innes Community Board because I have a deep connection to the area and would like to be part of a team that deliver great outcomes for the residents and community groups across Innes, for now and for future generations. I believe that our environment needs to be healthy, our communities liveable and accessible, and our residents listen to.

About me

Having served three terms on the community board and two terms on city council, I bring experience and a track record of supporting community and getting results. I am an operations manager and have been a director of council-owned companies. I am active in the community and am on the committee that is rebuilding Edgeware Pool and deputy chair of Styx Living Laboratory Trust, a water care group for the Styx River.

My priorities
  1. Ensure our amazing volunteer community groups continue to get the support they need and deserve.
  2. Protect existing trees and increase our tree canopy.
  3. Make Innes more accessible for people with accessibility requirements.
