Investigate and trial alternative waste management solutions in Auckland that create energy from waste.
Encourage responsible cat and dog ownership based on involvement with environmental groups which has shown the damage they can do left uncontrolled.
Maximise recycling, recognising that the introduction of food bins has been an eye-opener in minimising waste.
Reverse the woeful historical underinvestment in all water services.
Champion improvements to water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure to meet rising demand and strengthen rural community services.
Expand weed bin services and explore other schemes to incentivise weed control on private land bordering parkland.
Push for a review of dog-walking areas in the Waitākere Ranges and add more spaces for on- and off-leash recreation.
Champion rubbish and pollution education and community clean-up events.
