Let's Get Wellington Working

| Councillor - Great Wellington Regional Council (Wellington)

Why I'm standing

I am standing because Wellington needs disciplined, practical leadership to get finances under control and restore affordability for residents and businesses. In just six years, council debt has quadrupled to $2.1 billion, while rates keep rising and basic services come under pressure.

About me

I am an experienced governor, entrepreneur and urban planner. I bring over 20 years of governance and commercial expertise, with a proven record of delivering results and making tough financial decisions. Coupled with strong community connections, I am committed to applying this experience to deliver practical solutions that enhance the city, support local businesses and put Wellington back on the path to smart, sustainable growth.

My priorities
  1. Get Wellingtonians working with economic recovery and job creation. Wellington jobs for Wellington people.
  2. Get the infrastructure working with no more delays. Fix what is broken and build what is needed.
  3. Get the council working with functional leadership, less talk and more action, and a council that delivers.
