Why I'm standing

I am standing for re-election because there is still more to do. This is not the time to slow down. I have laid the groundwork for big, important projects and want to see them through. I want to continue to be an advocate for the communities in our ward and keep getting projects over the line that improve infrastructure in the places we live.

About me

For the last three years, being your councillor has not been a side hustle – it has been my full-time focus. I have given it everything I have got because I believe in being available, accountable and part of the community I serve. If someone calls, I pick up. If there is an issue, I get stuck in. When the community calls for something, I work hard to see it through.

My priorities
  1. Be the conduit between community and council by voicing the views of the community in the chambers.
  2. Scope projects correctly with community support and get them done for the benefit of everyone.
  3. Advocate hard for Hikurangi Coastal ward to get the fair share and investment the ward deserves.
