Why I'm standing

I have achieved a lot in promoting this area and making sure that we are recognised by council and others, but there is still more to be done. I care about the communities I have represented and advocated for during the last nine years as board chair. I want to be involved in continuing to help shape the future for this area, including a toll free Woodend bypass.

About me

Being actively involved in the communities means that I am aware of what is happening. I have made myself available and accessible by being out and about, volunteering, and attending events. I have kept the community informed about what is happening. I don't just talk about things, I actually do something.

My priorities
  1. Positively continue to manage population growth ensuring facilities and infrastructure keep pace.
  2. Ensure the community has a strong voice in decisions and information flows back to the community.
  3. Develop a plan for the future direction of this area making it an even better place for us all.
