Why I'm standing

I got to grow up in Halswell instead of a Romanian orphanage and the job of representing Halswell is not one I'll ever take for granted. This is an area I take extreme pride in and work hard for every day. I've been here 31 years and will work hard to ensure that Halswell remains a great place to live for future generations in another 31 years time. I'm running because I care.

About me

I know what it feels like to show up to Council with hundreds of signatures on a petition that get ignored. I've learnt from this and understand what it takes to listen. I have a crystal clear understanding that this job is to represent the communities interests, not self-interests. I've accepted $0 in donations with no outside influences, influencers or interferences in my campaign and will only be accountable to the people I represent.

My priorities
  1. Address the issue of growth and outdated infrastructure in Halswell which isn't keeping up.
  2. Rebuild trust between council and residents, starting with a three-year pay-freeze for councillors.
  3. Deliver better transparency, starting by making voting records of councillors available online.
