Why I'm standing

I believe a better future is one where you can look at Christchurch and see a place that we are proud to call home. Having been a Christchurch City Councillor, I understand the art of advocacy and negotiation, which is a core part of this role. As your councillor, I will work with you, listen to you, be accessible and make sure our community's voice is heard at the council table

About me

I have had the privilege to serve many communities across the city in various governance and management roles, so I have a unique understanding of the many challenges facing our city. I will bring that knowledge and experience to be an effective voice around the council table. I am an independent candidate who has a proven ability for getting this done and I want the opportunity to represent this community as your councillor.

My priorities
  1. Rebuild trust by working with, listening to, and being accessible for our community.
  2. Financial responsibility: reduce inefficiencies, reduce wasteful spending, and cap rate rises.
  3. A safer Halswell: improve our road safety and crime prevention through proactive partnerships.
