Why I'm standing

I'm big on advocacy, and community action. I have seen the focus being away from our local area, or mitigated the effects of a motorway on our suburbs. We need to focus on making our communities more liveable, and accessible. Our council representation has been focused on politics, not community outcomes and solutions, I want that to change.

About me

I've been deeply involved in this community for many years, I sit on resident committees, and local community facility action groups. I have organised community meetings and events, run petitions, and door knocked just about every house in the area talking to residents, informing residents, activating communities. I spend a lot of time doing work with in this community to enable better space for everyone including my young children.

My priorities
  1. Sustainable future, both locally and city wide.
  2. Greater council transparency, increased elected member advocacy, less bureaucratic staff processes.
  3. Connected communities through increased investment in amenity, and community activation.
