Why I'm standing

I'm very proud to call Waiuku home with my husband and two children. Having served for two terms representing the Waiuku Ward stretching from Glenbrook out to the Awhitu Peninsula, we are seeing change like never before. Strong advocacy is needed to ensure with this growth we are catered for with improved services and infrastructure. I have never been frightened to fight for what I believe is right, and our community deserves more.

About me

I had the privilege of holding the Waiuku Town Manager position for 11 years and have worked with a lot of community groups and businesses in that time. I understand economic development and know I can bring real value to the area with employment and business opportunities for our community eliminating the need for many to commute out of the area for employment. Live, work and play in our own backyard is achievable.

My priorities
  1. Ensure all our infrastructure for expected future growth is catered for, ie roading, wastewater etc.
  2. Advocate for local boards to have more decision-making powers that benefit our community.
  3. Prioritise improvements to our roading networks and pathways.
