Why I'm standing

As a successful business person with a long-time involvement in our community, I bring the background skills necessary to make an impact at the regional council table. Climate change, soaring costs at the petrol pumps and supermarkets, the ongoing fallout from Covid are just some of the hurdles facing our residents and businesses. By working collaboratively we can get the best outcomes available to our communities. I bring an honest, hardworking, common-sense approach.

About me

By working collaboratively we can get the best outcomes available to our communities. We are not a one size fits all region. Tawa, Linden, Kenepuru, Porirua central, east and west, Titahi Bay, Camborne, Whitby, Paremata, Mana, Plimmerton, Pukerua Bay – all of our villages have their own opportunities and challenges. I want to be part of the dialogue with all of our communities and represent them with energy and pride at the regional council table.

My priorities
  1. Free public transport is the future and we need it sooner rather than later.
  2. Stop any further degradation of Porirua harbour and its associated waterways.
  3. Making affordable, well costed and thought out decisions – working cooperatively with local councils.
