Grey District Council

Northern Ward
The Grey District Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of eight councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the district). One councillor will be elected from the Northern ward. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. The Northern Wards need strong council representation. I have a drive to enhance and grow this great community for our children. I will be an approachable point of contact between our ratepayers and council.

I am approachable and have good judgement. I am practically minded and like to get things done.

My priorities
  1. Make the Northern Ward visible within council.
  2. Help support local community organisations and projects.
  3. Be active in the promotion of local tourism attractions.
