Why I'm standing

After the last 50 years running and owning local businesses and employing hundreds of workers, I have decided to take another direction and get involved with being part of a proactive council, bringing my business experience to be elected as a councillor.

About me

I was born in Napier, and enjoyed being a person growing up near the sea. My passion was sailing, surfing and fishing, and after travelling I settled down, raised a family and formed companies that were part of the small to major projects in Hawke's Bay and other areas in NZ. Being a contractor, employer and being proactive and flexible meant I was able to contribute hugely to the Hawke's Bay economy.

My priorities
  1. I am not a fan of Three Waters so am not interested for that to be introduced in Hawke's Bay.
  2. Erosion control, no one should be forced out of their homes, we must not let that be an option.
  3. Rural road repairs, and better facilities at all our beaches, rivers and lakes.
