Why I'm standing

I have serious concerns over the projected rates increases. It is critical to address current and forecast expenditure, there is a lot of overstating and under delivering of services both within the Harbour Ward and across the city. It is important to have a representative at the council table who will challenge the status quo and who will provide leadership and business acumen to ensure the council is held to account in these key areas.

About me

It is time for me to give back to the communities that I love. Now, more than ever local government needs diverse skill sets to navigate the challenges local communities face. If I am elected, I will advocate for the specific needs of our community and ensure there are robust processes around strategic decisions and prioritisation of spending. I will put people before politics and hold the council to account.

My priorities
  1. Restore control over spending and stop the excessive rates rises.
  2. Consult with our communities and put people before party politics.
  3. Review operations, fix the broken services and deliver improvements needed for our city to thrive.
