Inglewood Community Board

The Inglewood Community Board represents your local community and advocates to New Plymouth District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members: four members elected by voters, and one councillor from the New Plymouth District Council.  This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. Compare the candidates and their policies to decide who to vote for in the Inglewood Community Board election.

Why I'm standing

We need a strong, clear voice to achieve many of the recreational, transport, growth, infrastructure and citizen initiatives currently in the Community Board Plan. I believe this strong voice has been lacking and Inglewood will benefit from a clear and articulate vision.

About me

I am open, a team player and willing to listen to the views, needs and wants of those I hope to represent. My previous experience has given me a good grounding in working in community settings and understanding what needs to be done.

My priorities
  1. Strong voice for Inglewood at central council.
  2. Ensure Inglewood is bought into New Plymouth District Council's vision of a Sustainable Lifestyle Capital.
  3. Help to make Inglewood more liveable, safe and connected.
