Make street cleaning contractual requirements public.
Instigate limiting rubbish collection to one private business per town.
Maintain the investment and aggressive pace to upgrade our core infrastructure – roads, footpaths, and water pipes.
Continue to fight for adequate compensation for Three Waters assets.
Work with the Waikanae Community Board to re-instate recycling services.
Ensure the Three Waters reform doesn't result in extra costs or reduced services for Kāpiti residents.
Provide free dog training lessons for new dog owners.
Investigate having a single waste collection provider to reduce the carbon footprint created by three companies chasing each other around.
Investigate a high tech incinerator for waste to produce power and remove the need to truck waste out of the area.
Review dog licensing fees to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Advocate strongly for our place in Three Waters reform is critical to ensure Kāpiti is well served with the change, debt recovery high priority.
Simplify rubbish collection to one operator while expanding local and regional waste recovery infrastructure and local recycling options.
