Katikati Community Board

The Katikati Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Western Bay of Plenty District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members: four members elected by voters, and two councillors from the Western Bay of Plenty District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     A hell of a lot more attention and assistance needs to occur from local government for our regions.

  • Respond to concerns in a truthful and honest manner. I am committed to unity in diversity, including diverse opinions being essential.

    Encourage cohesion and true reflections of our growing multi cultures .

  • Listen! Hear! Understand! Engage! This is the only way we are going to be able to represent our community.

    Regular meetings with diverse community groups and local business – expand the current engagement.
