Manawatū District Council

Feilding General Ward
The Manawatū District Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the district). Five councillors will be elected from the Feilding ward. Why I'm standing

Our region is currently facing profound issues, due to legislative, environmental and economic issues. As a business owner, mother, wife and Feilding local I have decided it is not a time to talk about issues, but to actively pursue solutions.

About me

I am your typical grass roots kiwi. I have been a Feilding local for 15 years, in this time I have represented Manawatū through Rotary, graduated from Massey University, owned multiple businesses and raised a family of my own. I'm right at home on the business front and have most recently been a runner up for the Feilding business 'people's choice' award and gained third place at the 'Manawatū strongest women' competition.

My priorities
  1. Sustainable infrastructure.
  2. Living crises.
  3. Flooding and natural disasters.
