Utilities and services
Councils are responsible for a wide range of utilities and services that we all rely on, from rubbish and recycling to street cleaning. Councils are currently also responsible for managing waste water, storm water and drinking water infrastructure – the ‘Three Waters’. But that may be about to change, with central government seeking to shift the delivery of Three Waters services to four new larger entities, which could borrow enough to upgrade the country’s water infrastructure.

Continue to oppose Three Waters, highlight council's options. If the government forces Three Waters then re-enter discussions.
Review waste minimisation policy for rubbish and recycling.
Review policy on dog control and registration, consult and implement.
Cant do a bloody thing till we know about Three Waters details.
Place great emphasis on the upgrading of our water infrastructure.
Encourage no increase in dog registration fees in the next annual plan.
Establish policies which make regular recycling affordable to all.

Allow friendly dogs back into town and give continuous support to dog control for unruly dogs
