Why I'm standing
After arriving in New Zealand with nothing, thanks to my community I have been able to give back as a school and emergency department nurse, spending my working life protecting New Zealanders on the frontline of our covid-19 response. I am a proud mother of three, including two children who have grown up to also be frontline medical staff.
About me
I believe in a multicultural society, where everyone has the chance to contribute towards the development of Auckland. I am passionate about opportunities to grow our city through community events public programmes, and cultural festivals, such as Diwali and the colour festival.
My priorities
- Encourage transport options, more electric vehicle charging stations around Maungakiekie.
- I am passionate about opportunities to grow our city through community events and cultural festivals.
- My community have supported me to become who I am. I believe in working together with community.
