Why I'm standing

I ran in 2019 because there was a disconnect between the council and the community. We've had a big culture shift at council and I've contributed to that. Being a Napierite since I was 2, it's an honour to serve Napier while I do feel council has achieved a lot I've definitely got unfinished business and want to see a lot more projects through.

About me

My day job as a personal trainer has me listening and working with people to achieve. Council is the same except on a whole different level. As a fit father with a young family, during the covid lockdown, I volunteered, delivering food parcels, shopping and medications to our most vulnerable in the community. I don't mind putting in the work. I'm also a member of a local board on a nationwide charity.

My priorities
  1. Continue keeping water as our number one priority, to deliver safe water by locals for locals.
  2. Continue the fight against Three Waters to ensure local democracy is retained.
  3. Work with other organisations to improve the housing crisis.
