Why I'm standing

I feel very lucky to live in Napier and care deeply for our city and the people that live here. It is a beautiful place, albeit with challenges like many others, though I see great potential and am committed to contributing to its development and progress. I would rather get stuck in than moan about things, so here I am putting my hand up for another go at council.

About me

For 10 years I've called Napier home. As a business owner and active community member I connect in with a wide range of organisations and community groups and members. As a governor I have served or continue to serve in the areas of sports (Hawks), social services (Roopū a Iwi Trust), health, business (Napier City Business) and the arts. I am committed to using my skills to represent and do what's best for the community.

My priorities
  1. Enabling more housing locally. We are challenged by land scarcity and opinion but it is vital.
  2. Helping the community work with council to get great outcomes. We are in this together.
  3. Advocating for business and our most vulnerable. Success and improvement impacts us all positively.
