Napier City Council

Onekawa-Tamatea Ward
The Napier City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. Why I'm standing

Napier is the best city to live, work and raise our families in. I want to maintain and improve the high levels of service we demand of our council and hold them to account. I want my children to live here and have access to quality employment and facilities. I want to be part of a council that listens and responds to your needs. A city for all its people.

About me

I have a background in serving my community both from St John Ambulance of New Zealand, and my past nursing career. I believe in good teamwork and that I am your representative, not council's. I'm not afraid to get out and about, talking and listening to residents about their concerns and ideas. Experience matters and I have practical experience with our water networks as I've worked with the city services team for the last three years.

My priorities
  1. Water projects are still my number one priority, drinking, stormwater and sewerage. $404m planned.
  2. Delivering projects on time and on budget. Keeping you informed every step of the way.
  3. Providing the city with the right pool in the right place (preferably Onekawa). Using accurate information.
