Onekawa-Tamatea Ward
The Napier City Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of 12 councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the city). Two councillors will be elected from the Onekawa-Tamatea ward. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I hope to be a representative reflective of our community. I am open minded with a genuine desire to see our fantastic city flourish. Skills and qualities I hold: architectural design, property management, administration and marketing, client/ customer relationship building, culturally aware. Napier born and bred.

My priorities
  1. Further work on our three waters including stormwater management.
  2. Decision making on the Aquatic Centre.
  3. Explore ideas and improve community engagement across the board.
