Ōmokoroa Community Board

The Ōmokoroa Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Western Bay of Plenty District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members: four members elected by voters, and two councillors from the Western Bay of Plenty District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.   • Maintain and support the growing network of cycleways to encourage cycling across all ages and stages of life.

    Support and enhance the mixed used of cycle paths for the effective use, safety and wellbeing of all users.

    Actively listen the the community as developments roll out to support safe and effective pedestrian, scooter, bike and vehicle movements.
