Ōwhango-National Park Community Board

The Ōwhango-National Park Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Ruapehu District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members: five members elected by voters, and one councillor from the Ruapehu District Council.  This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper.     Provide portable housing which can be expanded if required. Using interconnecting cube type housing from one bedroom to as many as needed.

    Rates discounts for first home owners – first year 50%, second year 40%, third year 30%, then full payment. For a minimum of five years ownership.
