Rodney Local Board

Warkworth Subdivision
The Rodney Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of nine members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. Three members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

A father to three, I am passionate about ensuring community facilities and services meet the needs of everyone and keep up with the huge population growth in the district. I believe it's critical that people who run for local boards live in the areas they are running in.

About me

As a resident in the area I am running in, I have been actively advocating for community facilities, road safety, and our environment. I have experience leading teams in some of New Zealand's largest organisations. With a focus on bringing the right people together, I am able to engage and cut through the red tape to get results.

My priorities
  1. Financial contributions from local developments must flow back into Rodney's infrastructure.
  2. Support local clubs, teams, and organisations to provide engaging activities for our children.
  3. Guide and connect communities with the council to advance local projects.
