Te Awahou Foxton Community Board

The Te Awahou Foxton Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Horowhenua District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of seven members: five members elected by voters, and two councillors from the Horowhenua District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I want voters to be involved and excited about Foxton, Foxton Beach Opportunities and challenges abound. My vision is for a thriving community that exceeds people's expectations. A community where you are listened to, where your contribution is valued. A community where stuff gets done through great leadership. I get stuff done. That's why I want to be your your community board member.

About me

I am a proven, no nonsense business leader and change agent with local and overseas experience. I chair the Foxton Beach Progressive Association. I now want to achieve more for our valuable community. We need to lift the performance of the board, manage the impacts of multiple government reforms and transformational growth and juggle the challenges of climate change and emerging technologies. I am simply the best. My time is now.

  2. Ensuring The Foxton Beach Freeholding Fund review is undertaken responsibly.
  3. Optimising growth opportunities and working hard to safeguard our precious and unique environment.
