Why I'm standing

To continue to advocate for community voice and for it to be heard where it makes a difference not when it is too late. To improve the effectiveness of community board so it makes a difference for Te Awamutu, Kihikihi and Kakepuku.

About me

I have experience as a community board member, having had two terms gives me a good understanding of the way council works. I care about my community, and what they think. I have lived in Te Awamutu for over 20 years, served on a number of different boards or committees and gained valuable governance experience.

My priorities
  1. Assisting the community to have its voice heard regarding the projects they see as important.
  2. Improving the effectiveness of the community board.
  3. To continue to support waste minimisation initiatives.
