Thames-Coromandel District Council

Mercury Bay Ward
The Thames-Coromandel District Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of nine councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the district). Three councillors will be elected from the Mercury Bay ward. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

It is no good complaining about the council if you are not prepared to stand and try to help.

About me

I am passionate about the area I live in and believe I can have a good input into keeping it that way.

My priorities
  1. Putting a halt to the Three Waters takeover.
  2. Keeping unnecessary expenditure to a minimum.
  3. To make this place a desirable place to work live and play in.
