Vincent Community Board

The Vincent Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Central Otago District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of four members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Promote pathways for local students to pursue science study to drive continuous improvement to improve fresh water monitoring and management.

    Support existing recycling and waste minimisation initiatives with financial and marketing resources from council.

  • Encourage biodiversity, with a special emphasis on native vegetation.

    Support the control of pests such as rabbits and possums.

    Seek to minimise the amount of nitrate leaching into waterways.
