Why I'm standing

I want to ensure the local board makes balanced and reasoned decisions, particularly with respect to climate change, sustainability and accommodating the more vulnerable members of our community.

About me

I am a good listener, good at understanding others' viewpoints, and a good team player. I have connections in various sporting, social, volunteering and employment areas, and have been serving on the local board's transport forum. I've held positions in running club committees, on a school board, and am a Friends of McKenzie Reserve committee member. I have a tachnical background in civil engineering, roads and traffic, and associated resource consenting.

My priorities
  1. Ensure all greenwaste can be composted on the island.
  2. Achieve a more complete cycle facility between Matiatia and Onetangi.
  3. Ensure the proposed speed limit reductions come to fruition.
