Why I'm standing

I love Hamilton. This is where I choose to raise my family, alongside yours. I want to make our city and region a fantastic place for children to grow up, youth to be heard, business to flourish, heritage to be honoured, council money to be spent wisely, and be a place that has a thriving natural environment. We can do better. We need to do better. I'd like to help us do better.

About me

We need people who can intelligently work through technical information, who are connected with their communities to ensure their input is considered and who offer the right experience to bring it all together cohesively and effectively. I have bachelors in law and management and a masters in management. I am a business owner and a mother. I currently work at the council so I understand how the organisation works and how to get things done.

My priorities
  1. Clean up our river sooner rather than later. Let's get it so we can swim in it and drink from it.
  2. Keep rates stable. Better spending of council monies. Cut out waste.
  3. Sensible approach to climate change. Support great work already happening. No new climate taxes.
