Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board

Central Subdivision
The Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Christchurch City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of nine members: six members elected by voters, including two members from your area, and three councillors from the Christchurch City council. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I want to help improve the interface between citizens and the council.

About me

As a community advocate and helper, I've learned how to navigate the many tricky parts that make up the council organisation. My management experience means I am capable of handling complex documents, issues and meeting procedures.

My priorities
  1. Address homelessness and addiction issues for the benefit of all people in our shopping areas.
  2. Develop hop-on-hop-off transport for Christchurch Central.
  3. Improve the communications between council and residents, in both directions.
