Why I'm standing

I believe the most appropriate decisions are reached when all known facts are 'on the table' and a calm open debate ensues. Recently, NZ government decisions were made under the duress of the probability of a catastrophic health event. I assume that, in the interests of 'life preservation', government decisions overlooked certain rights and freedoms. If elected I will ensure everyone's innate rights and freedoms are recognised in every board decision. Thank you.

About me

I will tell constituents the truth, I will not be 'gagged' or expected to follow party line politics unless I agree with them. I can work with anyone of good intention, I like people and will build respectful relationships.

My priorities
  1. Establish an understanding and working relationship with board members the council and community.
  2. Confirm residents issues, reveal the Long Term Plan for Linwood, identify how the board can assist.
  3. Through active community board promotion, inform the residents about our unique and vibrant suburb.
