Why I'm standing

I'm a mother, grandmother, business owner and a passionate resident of Halswell. I love Halswell. It is a great place to live and work. As the fastest-growing suburb of Christchurch, I believe we need passionate people on our community board who will listen to and respond to residents' concerns and issues.

About me

In the past, when my children were young, I was involved in Plunket for 17 years, Playcentre for six years and on two different school board of trustees. I am currently in governance roles on the Halswell Residents Association and the Halswell Community Project committees. Community Board will allow me to do more for the community and represent your needs and wishes.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that Halswell has the infrastructure and amenities to accommodate our growing population.
  2. Ensure that Halswell has excellent public transport options in all parts of Halswell.
  3. Ensure that everyone can get to where they're going safely regardless of their mode of transport.
