Why I'm standing

I am running for election because I am confident that I can make a meaningful contribution to community governance. I will be able to put my planning experience and civil defence training to a greater good. I also believe that as a migrant, it is important to be engaged with the communities that we live in and to represent the diversity of our community.

About me

I am a long-serving local government staff member, and I have a strong understanding of local government and legislative processes. It provides me the advantage of seeing an issue from different angles and applying rational, informed, and well-considered approaches within a community board setting. While championing my community's causes, I will be able to secure optimal outcomes by balancing competing interests.

My priorities
  1. Create 'living streets' to mitigate adverse traffic effects on residential neighbourhoods.
  2. Improve the safety of intersections and roadways for all road users.
  3. Ensure decision-making is clear and involves the community.
