Why I'm standing

We are a leading district council and NZs eighth biggest council with good infrastructure and relatively low rates. I have played a big hand in this development and have been supported by the residents in this Bream Bay ward by them voting me into council on nine occasions. I am confident in my role, Passionate in getting good results and I truly believe in taking the people with you which requires listening to them.

About me

I have proven this test. I have been able to hold the trust of our residents and been elected into council by them ten terms. I have delivered major outcomes for this ward. Involved with the planning of the Marsden Point structure plan that is the blue print for development in this area. I look people in the eye and not afraid to make hard or controversial decisions.

My priorities
  1. Work closely with other councillors on issues that arise. Teamwork within council works.
  2. Extend the very good work we current have on the table. Make sure new projects are considered early.
  3. Be answerable and accessible to our residents. Place far more accountability on our project spend.
