Why I'm standing

The council needs my experience to guide it through these tough times. It needs someone who is forward thinking, committed and knows how to get things done on time within budget. I can do that. I am dedicated, have vision, think strategically, have compassion, and a good knowledge base. I can plan, budget and stick to it, and I know how council works.

About me

I am a straight shooter who has the skills required and experience on council. I will listen to your concerns, am committed, and do my homework.

My priorities
  1. Control rates spend on operational and capital costs so ratepayers see more value for their money.
  2. Improve the safety of our city and create better links for traffic, cyclists and pedestrians.
  3. Encourage business growth to create jobs and a vibrancy in Whangārei.
