Why I'm standing

I have served one term and believe we can improve systems we have in place to support our district. I would love to see more protection to the environment and engagement with our people. I enjoy this role and find it immensely fulfilling and hope to bring more people along on the journey of developing our home to be even more attractive for the residents and those passing through.

About me

I am an open-minded, understanding, creative person who really wants the best for the people of Whangārei. I have gained much knowledge over the past three years as an elected member and have continued to show my consistent community commitment, and it will always be there. Being in this role allows me to serve the district much more than I could any other way. I would love to represent you once again. Thank you.

My priorities
  1. Encouraging community resilience through improved systems and enabled opportunities.
  2. Ensure all public recycling bins have a system in place that their contents are not just dumped.
  3. Support and improve accessibility for many forms of alternative transportation and disability.
