Why I'm standing
Dunedin has a great community, and I want to see this continue into the future, for our younger generations. My vision for the country and my community is, to see that we all have equal opportunities. Grow our productivity and a more safe and prosperous nation. All New Zealanders should have the same fundamental rights, regardless of race, culture, religion, sexuality or gender.
About me
I stand for ACT because I believe, New Zealand needs real change! I have been in the construction industry for 22 years. So I understand the frustrations around housing, infrastructure, and small business that we have had to face over the past six years. With a current Labour government that has excessive red tape, and prohibiting local industries and businesses from succeeding.
My priorities
- Make Dunedin more appealing for tourism, family activities and small businesses.
- Public transport. To reintroduce a light-rail/tram system that encompasses south-to-north Dunedin.
- Get the Dunedin community more involved in making decisions and having a say about our town.
