Why I'm standing
I believe animals are worthy of compassion and respect and need a voice in parliament. I hope to be such a voice for animals, and to bring about positive change for all animals and people in the Hamilton East electorate.
About me
I have very strong values of empathy and compassion for all people and animals. I am devoted to creating a city in which animals are protected and treated with respect. I have lived my whole life in Kirikiriroa and am passionate about promoting the well-being of all people and animals. I will strive to bring about positive change to create a community which is filled with compassion and respect for everyone.
My priorities
- Fund the desexing of companion animals such as the spay and neuter programs run by the SPCA.
- Fund and support shelters and sanctuaries, to help care for and re-home animals in need.
- Support the call for an independent commissioner for animals.
