Why I'm standing
I would like to promote a safe, prosperous and successful New Zealand where there are diverse opportunities for New Zealanders to reach their personal goals and dreams. I joined the National Party to seek election as the MP for Hamilton West and to help drive this vision for New Zealand.
About me
I have a set of skills and experiences in Hamilton, New Zealand and overseas – rural whānau based upbringing, commitment to educational success, professional/legal services, property investment, SMEs and charitable activities, agribusiness and church-based governance roles, bilingualism, and a heart for people and communities – that can positively contribute to the lives of Hamiltonians and New Zealanders, and the natural environment.
My priorities
- Rebuild the economy to reduce the cost of living. Tackle inflation, give tax relief, support whānau.
- Restore law and order. Back police, address youth offending, have real consequences for crime.
- Improve healthcare and education – increase workforce, support cancer patients, teach basics.
