Why I'm standing

I believe politics in New Zealand needs to change. We need to ensure that elected members remember who put them in office. I will ensure that every single New Zealanders' basic human rights are protected. I will ensure our education system is teaching our children the basics, not ideologies that lack evidence. I want our health system to be well supported and focus on prevention based, integrative medicine.

About me

I grew up in and around the Kaipara area. I'm a nurse with 21 years experience caring for people, now no longer clinically nursing, but with an incredible opportunity to nurse the country back one compassionate MP at a time. I've been involved in setting up a community health hub. I believe that we all have a role to play in the future of our country. Government need to collaborate with communities in a connected way.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for removal of the unworkable regulations on farmers, this will help reduce food cost.
  2. Advocate for projects that bring jobs to the area, ensure jobs and grow local economy on completion.
  3. Push for better/resilient road maintenance using local contractors to ensure a more timely repair.
