Why I'm standing
I am a first-generation kiwi who grew up loving the freedoms of my childhood, while also being acutely aware of the inequality around me. I want to bring about a fairer society, one that enables and supports people to thrive in any way they choose. One where we can create economic prosperity and tackle the systemic issues NZ is facing. TOP is the only party with a credible plan to do this.
About me
I understand the pressures facing young kiwis, the hopelessness of the housing market, the inaction on climate. It's time for a fresh voice in parliament – we need people and parties that can work together in an open, positive and collaborative way. Like other TOP candidates, I have the new ideas and the courage to help lead the change that can create a fairer future for everyone – including a future with affordable housing.
My priorities
- Deliver affordable housing by rebalancing the tax system, increasing incomes and housing supply.
- Reduce emissions and transit to a climate-resilient society.
- Provide local councils with resources to upgrade infrastructure to create liveable cities.
