Women's Rights Party

The Women’s Rights Party describes its priority as creating a world that is safe for women and girls. The party was formed in 2023 by trade unionist and former Labour Party activist Jill Ovens and former Labour community board representative Dawn Trenberth to provide an alternative to mainstream parties which it says have been captured by "gender ideology." The party promotes the view that sex is binary and people are not able to change sex. Among other things, it opposes transwomen being allowed to use women's spaces, such as public bathrooms, a position common among anti-trans political movements internationally.
